BTS 2.0 K-pop Filming Class in London

This April, KMDC will be launching a new K-pop Filming Class in London based on “2.0,” one of BTS’s latest releases.

Among BTS’s recent songs, 2.0 stands out for its especially strong choreography, rich textures, and expressive performance quality. It is a piece that offers much more than just movement. It gives dancers the opportunity to work on contrast, detail, energy, intention, and the kind of performance depth that makes choreography come alive on camera.

At KMDC, we believe that filming classes should be more than simply learning steps. They should be a full creative process. That means learning the choreography, understanding the details, refining formations, developing performance quality, and building a final piece that feels complete both in the studio and on screen.

This project is designed for dancers who want to grow not only by memorising choreography, but by improving how they perform, express, and bring movement to life.

Why BTS 2.0 in BTS DANCE CLASS?

When choosing a song for a K-pop filming project in London, we always look for something that can offer dancers real value beyond just popularity.

BTS’s 2.0 is a strong choice because it contains a wide range of movement qualities throughout the choreography. There is texture, musical contrast, performance detail, and expressive potential that allow dancers to go deeper into the piece rather than just copying shapes.

For students, this creates a valuable training experience. It is not only about learning a routine. It is about learning how to control energy, sharpen intention, and improve performance quality in a more complete way.

That is why we feel this project will be a meaningful chance for dancers at KMDC to develop further through the process of preparing a piece for camera.

What makes this filming class different?

A regular class and a filming class are not the same experience.

In a regular K-pop dance class in London, you might focus on learning choreography within one session or over a short period of time. In a filming class, the goal is bigger. The choreography is only one part of the journey.

This KMDC BTS 2.0 Filming Class is about going through the full creative and rehearsal process, including:

  1. Learning the full choreography

  2. Refining movement details

  3. Working on formations

  4. Improving performance quality

  5. Building consistency as a team

  6. Preparing for the camera

  7. Completing a final filmed performance

This is what makes filming classes such a special part of the KMDC experience. They create an environment where dancers can challenge themselves, work toward a shared result, and experience what it feels like to build a real performance project from start to finish.

Open to all levels

This class is open to all levels, from Beginner to Advanced.

That does not mean everyone will dance in exactly the same way from the start. It means that anyone who is excited to train, improve, and be part of a full filming project is welcome to join.

At KMDC, we know that growth does not only come from already being advanced. Growth comes from commitment, repetition, openness to feedback, and the willingness to keep refining your performance over time.

So whether you are newer to K-pop choreography or already have more experience, this project can still be a meaningful opportunity to push yourself in a creative and supportive setting.

What you can expect from this project

If you join this BTS 2.0 K-pop Filming Class in London, you can expect more than simply attending rehearsals.

You will be part of a process that focuses on:

1. Full choreography learning

You will learn the choreography in structured stages so that the full piece can be built properly over time.

2. Performance quality

This project places strong emphasis on how you perform the choreography, not just whether you know the counts.

3. Texture and expression

Because 2.0 contains a wide range of expressive and textural qualities, dancers will have the chance to explore contrast, intention, and detail throughout the process.

4. Formations and spatial awareness

A filming project requires more than individual movement. You also need awareness of spacing, timing, group formations, and how the whole piece reads visually.

5. Camera-ready detail

As the project develops, the focus shifts more and more toward refinement. Small details become important. That is where the performance begins to feel complete.

6. Team experience

One of the best things about a filming class is the shared process. You are not only learning by yourself. You are building something together with the team.

BTS 2.0 Filming Class Schedule

More than a class — a full performance process

What makes this kind of project exciting is that it mirrors the real process of building a performance.

First, you learn. Then, you clean. Then, you refine. Then, you perform.

That journey is one of the reasons why KMDC filming projects can be such powerful growth experiences for dancers. Instead of treating dance as a one-day challenge, they allow students to experience progression over time and to understand how much stronger a piece becomes when details, teamwork, and performance quality are developed properly.

For dancers who want to go beyond casual choreography practice, this kind of project can be one of the most rewarding ways to train.

Why join a K-pop filming class in London?

For many dancers, joining a K-pop filming class in London is a chance to experience something bigger than a standard drop-in class.

It gives you the chance to:

  1. Work toward a concrete final result

  2. Improve your consistency over multiple sessions

  3. Build confidence through repetition

  4. Deepen your performance quality

  5. Experience teamwork and group formations

  6. Create a finished performance on camera

For BTS fans, it is also a chance to engage with the choreography in a more immersive and meaningful way. Instead of only watching or casually learning parts of the dance, you get to step into the full process and become part of the performance itself.
