![[April Training Class: Footworks - House & Hiphop]
One of this monthโs Monthly Training Session focuses on Footwork: Hiphop & House.
This session is designed to strengthen the footwork foundation that is essential in both Hiphop and House.
Beyond speed and accuracy, we will train rhythm, weight transfer, bounce, and coordination, helping your movement feel lighter, cleaner, and more stylistically grounded.
When footwork is not fully internalised, it often becomes difficult to pick up choreography clearly and execute it with confidence.
In both Hiphop and House, footwork is far more than simple stepping.
It is a core element that builds groove, connects flow, and shapes the overall quality and style of movement.
Through focused rhythm training and a variety of foundational steps, you will develop a more natural and accurate use of your feet, while learning how to connect your lower and upper body more effectively within the music.

Before we share the April schedule announcement, we have some exciting news to let you know first :)
Some of you who have taken lyrical classes may already know Mila โ she used to teach at KMDC in the past, and after taking time to recover following the birth of her baby, she is now returning to join us again.
Mila was one of the original members who helped support KMDC in its early days, and weโre so happy to officially welcome her back as part of the KMDC teaching team.
With a background in ballet and strengths in street dance as well as a wide range of styles, she is a wonderfully versatile teacher *(quite similar to meโฆ haha)*. Going forward, she will be teaching not only K-pop at KMDC, but also lyrical classes and ballet basics.

Monthly Schedule Recommendation
Engage in our unique scheduling system by recommending and voting on your favorite songs before the class schedule is finalized. The voting list for the schedule includes recommended songs as well as the latest and most popular tracks. Your participation directly shapes the KMDC schedule, ensuring it meets your preferences.
BESPOKE PRIVATE CLASS SYSTEM
If the song you want to learn is not on the schedule, or you need to work on dance basics as part of your dance journey, simply write it down. If at least five KMDC members are interested, a small group class will be organized. This system ensures that if you desire a class, others likely do too—so suggest and create the classes you want!
